Stump Grinding

The new ZT1844 from Bandit Industries Inc. arriving August 2017 !!

With 38 Hp and only 29" wide it will grind any size stump yet still get through a standard 2'6" gate.

Our current machine is 30" wide so will just squeeze through.

The tree is down, why grind out the stump?

There are several reasons for stump grinding.

1. To allow replanting in the same area.

2. To remove disease and decay so that it does not spread, especially the likes of Honey Fungus through the root system.

3. To prevent regrowth.

4. To improve the look of the area, stumps can be unsightly.

For example, these stumps were ground out and the grindings raked over to allow landscape contractors to lay a membrane and cover with decorative chippings.
